Community Projects
Tanzania’s education system has improved dramatically over the years. The Government has made it the law that every Tanzanian child attend school. Attendance in schools has gone up by 400% since the law was passed. However, not all regions and villages have schools. Most villages have no access and are unable to receive contributions that come from the Government. Sokwe are trying their best to provide some kind of assistance to these schools.
Ololosokwan
With tremendous support and contributions from our clients, we have been able to build for the Ololosokwan Village in the Northern part of the Serengeti, a primary school and a hospital. From the proceeds that we give to the village, while camping in this area, we have also helped them to open a village bank account that will enable them continue improving in their village.
Tungamalenga
This tiny little village is located just outside the Ruaha National Park During a full day trip, clients who wish to visit this community may do so. Here you are able to donate
Lindi
The richest deposit of Late Jurassic strata in Africa is the Tendaguru Formation, the best outcrops of which are in Tanzania in East Africa. While visiting the Tendaguru Fossils in Lindi, our clients contributed books and a computer the local library.
Olasiti
